Pink hew

What was a white-walled office has over time begun to morph it's way in to a princess haven :)

Daryl was not even exaggerating when the morning after our first baby shower I overheard him murmur to himself in disbelief, "There is a pink glow coming from the nursery."

I cracked up and ran out into the hallway to see if he was serious - he was! But is it any wonder? Check out the room at current...

People have been SO generous to us and Daryl and I are even more excited now for Anna Grace (that's right - that's the name selection) to arrive! Isn't she going to be cute????

Unless she turns out a he or to be goth, we'd better get used to pink. I have a feeling we will be buying/receiving pink for a long time.

Who knew life could be so fun and she hasn't even arrived yet? I love peering in there every night :)

Thanks to everyone who has mailed gifts, given gifts, and given advice! We are so grateful for the many tangible ways that God has used others to lavish His love on us! Hopefully she'll be a blessing to you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The pink definitely begins to take over EVERYTHING! It's hard to find girl clothes in any other color. I love the name Anna Grace too! I hope you are feeling good and excited about motherhood-it's different than anything I've ever experienced.

Hey Lauren! Sorry I'm just now getting back to you about my profile pic. I'll have to tell Colleen (my sister who took it) that you said it looks pro! She's a great photographer.

And I can't BELIEVE you chose the name Anna Grace!!! Let's just say that Sarah and I have tossed around both those and it's just not fair! (We're definitely NOT pregnant by the way.) :o) But of course, they're beautiful names...
